Through thick or thin – we have a solution for everything!
petWALK pet doors are designed for the easiest possible installation into various building structures.
"Enclosing" Installation: This installation method is the simplest and quickest way to install the petWALK pet door into a building component. It is used when the door is retrofitted into building elements with smooth surfaces (laminated glass; doors with flat, smooth surfaces). You only need to create an opening of the appropriate size in the building component, which can then be enclosed by the pet door. The pet door is firmly pressed against the glass or door on both sides using the supplied screws, thus securing itself to the building component. A continuous seal on both frames ensures an airtight and watertight connection. For thin building components spacers (available as an accessory) is needed to clamp the door. Similarly, retrofitting into masonry can also be performed. Here, the petWALK pet door can be clamped either directly to the outer wall or between the inner wall and a previously installed subframe. The space in the wall between the outer and inner frames is sealed with a tunnel.

A petWALK door is optimally suited for passive and low-energy houses and can be connected to the building envelope in an airtight manner without thermal bridges.
